VOLT is an acronym for Visual Online Learning Tool that was co-developed with our strategic partner Applied Learning Labs. The Diversity VOLT e-learning solution uses cutting-edge interactive and discovery based learning techniques that maximizes employee learning, retention and makes for better decision-making. Our diversity VOLT incorporates a variety of visual and adult learning techniques to ensure that people with different learning styles will stay engaged throughout the session and achieve the desired training goals.
Diversity VOLT can be used across corporate intranets, integrated into learning management systems and distributed via CD-ROM. VOLT can also be used with a kiosk computer for employees who do not have access to a computer at their workstation.
Benefits
The Diversity Volt is designed to meet the practical needs of learners. For example:
- Multiple Sessions – If learners start the Diversity Volt, but then need to quit and finish the session at a later time, the VOLT will automatically re-start from where they ended their earlier session.
- Closed Captioning – In addition to the voiceovers that guide the learner through the VOLT, the script can also be read on the screen.
- Multiple Navigation Options – If the learner wants to review a chapter, they can use the "Chapter Jump" function to navigate a different chapter of the Diversity VOLT.
- The Diversity VOLT automatically keeps track of the chapters that the learner has gone through and which of the tests and exercises they have completed. Anytime the learner quits from the Diversity VOLT, they will be presented with a reminder of what chapters still need to be completed, if any.
