Inclusion & Diversity Executive Briefing™

Executive Briefing is a two to four hour session that provides a fundamental understanding of diversity and inclusion that will support an effective strategic diversity management process. The emphasis of the session is the exploration of workforce, marketplace, and workplace trends impacting the ongoing success of the organization in achieving its mission. This is a business meeting that positions diversity/inclusion as a vehicle for achieving business results.

The Briefing ensures that executives understand leveraging diversity as a strategy to accomplish business objectives and are equipped to lead the effort. This session encourages senior leadership to tie diversity and inclusion to the organization's overall vision and values. Leaders are prompted to decide on their business motives for strategically leveraging diversity so that resources, structures and activities are in alignment with any efforts/decisions moving forward.

The Methodology for this session will be fast paced, interactive, engaging, decision shaping and business relevant. Small group and large group discussions will keep the energy high and videos will bring new insights and learning. The business experience of PRISM’s consultants will insure that the conversation is business relevant and makes sense to busy business leaders. Diversity Best Practices will be shared along with realistic tips for avoiding traps.

In this Briefing, Executives will:

  • Understand the business process for diversity and inclusion within the day to day operating environment
  • Understand the benefits of diversity and inclusion as a strategic approach to meeting workplace, workforce and marketplace goals
  • Review and build on the Organization's Financial's definitions of Diversity and Inclusion
  • Agree on the business motives for the diversity process at the Organization
  • Understand the Diversity and Inclusion Process
  • Examine the impact of organizational culture and behaviors on employee engagement
  • Identify the activities and behaviors needed to support and maintain a Best Place to Work culture
  • Crystallize diversity’s linkage to Operations (i.e. marketing, underwriting, sales, customer service, etc.)
  • Identify the importance of the Executive’s role in the diversity and inclusion process
