Theresa Thompson of the Women's Executive Council said Linda was this year's natural choice. "Linda spends much of her time in the boardroom coaching 'C' level executives yet she makes time and is equally at home facilitating diversity training with second and third graders as a volunteer at local elementary schools." Linda began her career as a working single mother who put herself through college. Later in 1992, she completed her masters and founded PRISM International, Inc. Her goal was to create a company where dedicated diversity professionals could apply their business experience, knowledge and passion for creating change in their workforce, workplace, marketplace and community. Since then she had built a company that has served over 156 organizations in 13 countries on 6 continents. Stokes was recognized by the Women's Executive Council of Orlando and awarded their 2005 Women's Achievement Award for Business. Ms. Stokes received her award at the Women's Executive Council 35th Annual Women's Achievement Awards luncheon held at the Citrus Club in Orlando, Florida.
