Diversity and Inclusion Practitioners Notified that the Annual Employee Resource Group & Diversity Council Conference is set for Washington D.C. October 14th & 15thPRISM Press Release, February 5, 2015 For Additional Information Contact: Debbie Mitchell, info@ergcouncil.com
This is the fourth year of the ERG & Council Conference that last year attracted 300 diversity and inclusion practitioners from employee resource groups and diversity councils representing over 90 U.S. organizations. The two day conference features keynote speakers, concurrent workshops, special topic sessions and various networking breaks and opportunities that are all focused on employee resource groups and diversity councils. Participants are provided with expanded opportunities to learn and share best practices, network, celebrate and grow. "This year's theme is Creating Impactful Change!", said Philip Berry, Executive Director of the Association of ERGs & Councils. "The role of diversity councils and employee resource groups is to contribute to producing viable results that impact the workforce, workplace and the marketplace. They must create impactful change that is beneficial and enables their organizations to transition to higher levels of performance." One of the conference highlights is the evening reception and dinner celebration featuring the fun and exciting TOP 25 recipient countdown for the 2015 ERG & Council Honors Award™. "ERGs and Diversity Councils previously complete and submit an online application that measures their impact in four areas," said Linda Stokes, President & CEO at PRISM International, Inc. and conference and award founder. " It's not until the dinner celebration that they discover where they ranked in the TOP 25." The 2015 ERG & Council Honors Award™ application process is set to open February 17th. The application process is free and open to all U.S. ERGs and Diversity Councils in operation for at least two years. For more information and to apply visit 2015 Honors Awards. "This is a very affordable conference... less than half the price of other diversity and inclusion events," said Berry. "We want organizations to be able to send as many of their diversity council and employee resource group members as possible. Sponsorship by strong advocates of ERGs and Councils like last year's State Street Bank, GM, Siemens, the American Institute for Research, The Boeing Company and many others make this event possible. 2015 sponsorship opportunities are available now.
